# Locus: A Research and Training Center in Rome
## Mission
Locus is a research and formation center based in Rome, Italy (MIUR Registration No. 62909YJC), dedicated to fostering solid citizenship in its various forms of social utility. To achieve this goal, it exclusively focuses on developing activities of general interest, as briefly outlined:
– Education, instruction, and professional training.
– Cultural activities of social interest with educational purposes.
– University and post-university education.
– Organization and management of cultural, artistic, or recreational activities of social interest, including editorial activity promoting and disseminating culture and the practice of volunteering.
– Planning and managing social interest tourism activities, whether cultural, religious, or otherwise.
– Promoting peace culture among peoples, non-violence, and unarmed defense.
– Protecting human rights, civil, social, and political.
– Disseminating, studying, and developing Mariology themes, an essential axis of the common identity of international communities, which can serve as a reference platform for projecting shared models of coexistence, common guardianship, political and social participation.
