Testimony of Fr. Bamonte

One day I heard him shout: “I am Lucifer, the most brilliant of all the angels of heaven; I rebelled against the will of God, because I did not want to submit to the majesty of the Nazarene”. It could all have been fine, to be under the power of God, but under the Nazarene, who was to be born of a Woman, I did not want to be there. Then I said: “Either you make me like You or I will fight against You, because never, ever, will I lower myself to a God who makes Himself human flesh and who takes on human features or a human body”.

Another time, while I was saying to him: “Adore Him, He is your God, He created you, adore Him”, he protested: “He went and became incarnate in you, the most repugnant and humiliating thing He could do. The disgust we felt when He entered that flesh, only we know”.

Another day, while I was praying to Our Lady, these are the protests I heard: “I am pure spirit: why not me, why not me, pure spirit? I, pure spirit: why not me, instead of that one? Why? Huh, huh? Why that one”?

And shortly afterward he added: “It is She who is a creature, not I. I am ‘god’ and She was placed above me. Why should it be so? And I did not want to, I did not want to. I would never have bowed down to the creature, the one created to remain on the ground. I, pure spirit, ‘before’ God: they ought to adore me, because they are less than I am” (he was evidently referring to the human nature of Christ and to that of Mary Most Holy).

Another time I heard these words:
“I cannot bear that she should be at his side above me. I was the most beautiful angel, beautiful, beautiful. The greatest, the greatest, the greatest. I was Lucifer, the angel par excellence. What an affront! What an affront! He conceived one of you without sin! What an affront! The Immaculate Conception is the greatest insult your God has done to us. To make one of you conceive without that sin which we created is an unbearable affront. We had marked them all, we had marked them all with our sign, all of them, except her! She should not have done this to us! One of you without sin! And then the one who becomes incarnate in your miserable body made of worms” (here he was referring to the decomposition of our body, after death). “Why did He do this? To ruin us? Why did He humiliate us so much? Why did He humiliate us so much”?

On another occasion, repeating words already expressed earlier, he declared:
“I refused that one (God), because He made her. I could not bear that She should be at his side. I could not bear that a human creature should be above me, because I was the most beautiful angel, beautiful, beautiful, the greatest. I was Lucifer, the angel par excellence”.
