Mary’s antiphons: “Remember, O Author of Salvation”

## Antífona mariana «Memento salutis auctor»: texto e significado
| Remember, Author of our Salvation, That once you assumed the condition of our body, born of a Virgin without stain. Mary, Mother of Grace, Glory to You, Lord, | You who are the Author of Salvation, remember that once you assumed the condition of our body, being born of a Virgin without stain. Mary, Mother of Grace, Mary, Mother of Mercy, you protect us from enemies and receive our hour of death. Glory to You, Lord, Who was born of a Virgin, with the Father and Holy Spirit, for evermore. Amen. |
The tradition of Marian antiphons at Christmas and in the liturgical celebrations of the Church is explored by Paul VI in his Apostolic Exhortation *Marialis Cultus*, which provides guidelines for integrated devotion to Mary within the celebration of Christ’s mysteries.
